Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a natural, non-surgical treatment that uses your own blood’s healing power to stimulate hair growth. PRP is rich in growth factors — special proteins that help repair tissue, boost circulation, and wake up dormant hair follicles.
Because PRP uses your own blood, the treatment is well-tolerated, safe, and free of synthetic chemicals. PRP can be performed as a standalone therapy or combined with FUE hair restoration and other advanced treatments to maximize results
They’re related but different. PRP uses your own blood platelets to stimulate natural repair and growth. Regenerative therapy uses advanced biologics or stem-cell–derived materials to further enhance follicle vitality. Many Revive clients combine both treatments for stronger, longer-lasting results.
PRP is ideal for men experiencing early or moderate thinning, or those wanting to strengthen transplanted hair with an FUE procedure. If you still have visible follicles in the thinning area, PRP may help improve thickness and slow further loss.
We typically recommend an initial series of 3–4 sessions, spaced about a month apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 8-12 months to preserve and enhance your results.
Most men tolerate PRP very well. We apply a topical anesthetic or local numbing before the procedure, so you’ll feel only mild pressure or brief pinching. Slight tenderness or redness for 24–48 hours is normal.
